There are an awful lot of deleted comments. Make of that what you will.

Thanks. Dropped a few comments. Depressing number of ppl praising Ireland's self ID fiasco. Myopic muppets haven't read about Barbie Kardashian et al.
Some good GC replies too.

Some of them were screenshot before they were deleted and have been posted in this Twitter thread. Instructive to see what The Guardian does not want its less-well informed readers to see:

"Yesterday the @guardian left its liveblog comments open while the Scottish parliament voted through The Gender Recognition Reform Bill. Both sides were represented but some were quickly deleted. Here is a short thread of deleted posts screenshotted quickly after posting (1/x)"

Today's article amp.theguardian.com/uk-news/2022/dec/23/scotlands-trans-rights-campaigners-react-to-gender-recognition-reform-bill

Totally one sided and no comments.

I suspect the number of alleged hate crimes will sky rocket in Scotland. Take the example of 'living as a woman' by using female pronouns. That involves compelling others to use them with reference to you. I, for one, would pushback on this when I might not have done so before the bill was passed. There you go, there's another hate crime .,.
