So we attended the exhibition and we were sent a survey via email. It started off well but we were then alerted to a section containing questions of a more 'personal nature'.
I found one question utterly bizarre. It was along the lines of ' Has attending the exhibition made you consider changing your gender?'
FFS, this is basically an exhibition of the Rosetta Stone and how it was used to decipher hieroglyphics. How on earth could it ever have that effect?

Is that the BM exhibition about Stonehenge? that rather pushed the 'genderfluid' message.

Yes!! It was amazing exhibition, but DH and I noticed that too (and he's not particularly attuned to the sex/gender issue). It was quite subtle, but definitely there. Seemed to me like they were either reaching to find evidence of trans identity in the Neolithic period, or trying to be careful not to offend/be inclusive. Either way, it jarred and felt weirdly revisionist/ideological.

I think the acceptable phrase now is "would you like a cup of gender fluid?

Ew. Gender fluid sounds deeply unpleasant. Green expectorate mixed with something worse. Envy

It may look like greeny mucusy expectorant but it identifies as prosecco. And if you don't drink it you're a bigot.

How can they not have a record of how much they paid to Stonewall? Do they not hold financial records?!?

Having experience of an institution that operates under very similar rules to the BM, I cannot for the life of me imagine how they don't hold these records.
