Just wanted to share this thread as I feel it so perfectly demonstrates the male arrogance and misogyny in the trans movement.

Op is upset that female manager is talking about the female body. Lots of other transwomen rush to say the manager ought to be reported.

The OP goes on to describe all the female processes that women go through which can't be acquired by transwoman (pregnancy, periods, etc.) as 'invisible'.

And we have the offensive claim that a woman who has had a hysterectomy is no different to a transwoman (who couldn't possibly have a hysterectomy...).

And some mumbo jumbo about trans women getting womb transplants. And some bizarre Cartesian Dualism.

There’s another post on their lamenting not being able to have a baby with their boyfriend. Half the comments are ‘don’t worry OP, uterus transplants are just round the corner’

I’m not sure where they think this endless supply of healthy uteruses is coming from.

MrsOvertonsWindow · 17/12/2022 15:03

Very sad to see the levels of denial and delusion and as usual the rush to officialdom to shut down a woman speaking about facts and science in a work related context.

Arguing about uterus transplants demonstrates the levels of fantasy thinking. Once you're familiar with the amazing process of pregnancy & birth, you know that no transwoman will ever gestate a baby and give birth.

Rightsraptor · 17/12/2022 16:08

I'm feeling rather proud that the pesky TERF in question is British.

Cuppasoupmonster · 17/12/2022 16:25

‘We’re not saying you can’t, just removing all the terminology which means you can’

The support humans, I suppose.

What a bunch of nasty, selfish, entitled little babies.

Anyone who so desperately needs validation has something psychological going on. If it's not already part of an existing personality disorder diagnosis, I think they need to add it.

In the meantime, I think the best response is to laugh at them.

I imagine that they think the fact they are hugely outnumbered by transmen gives them a shot at this. Althiugh are transmen's uteruses damaged by all the testosterone? I'm guessing that's one of the main reasons for hysterectomy?

The push behind this ideology doesn't give a shit how much a dysphoric transwoman wants a baby, lets be honest. It was all about dismantling women's rights.

MingeofDeath · 17/12/2022 17:11

It always makes me laugh when they are talking about uterus transplants, do they think it's some sort of plug in and play system? They never even mention a placenta. I had to laugh at one post in which one TW said that their hips had rotated because of the "HRT". The delusion and science denial is astounding. I sometimes feel sorry for them (a nanosecond only) because they are so desperate to be women that they will clutch at anything.

Boggling at the batshittery of this paper linked on the thread. I was waiting for some groundbreaking physical change to be announced, but it's just sophistry based on hormones and the existence of DSDs.

Ugh.
Reddit.

Reddit who shut down GC Reddit Sub which was a pretty good sub. Shut down the "lesbians for females" sub, again a pretty good sub that didn't accept penises as lesbians. Shut down countless other feminist subs and closed the Detrainitioners sub for a while but somehow that got reinstated, prob just because of trans. Reddit that allows MAPs and incels to thrive, but not women.
It can fuck off.

I made the mistake of clicking on the 3 dots which takes you to each individual profile. The majority seem to have a ‘18 - Mature content’ warning!

Maybe this is something that needs to be queried with organ donation.

Although they’re welcome to my diseased uterus. I give them all of five minutes with it.

CyanCyan · 17/12/2022 17:57

From the OP: ‘It’s a semi-medically-related job so I can’t silence her’ silence her? This is quite a chilling statement.

Rightsraptor · 17/12/2022 17:57

Matilda Carter, who authored the 'Disputing the Endogeneity Constraint' paper is a transwoman. So has a clear personal investment in arguing from that particular stance.

TastefulRainbowUnicorn · 17/12/2022 18:39

I don’t get how my mother, that had a Hysterectomy and I, a Trans woman are different in the eyes on Terfs

based on the limited information you’ve provided us with, sir, I would venture that the differences are:

  1. she’s your mother.
  2. she’s had a hysterectomy.
  3. judging by 1 & 2, she’s female.

I really don’t see how this is confusing for them.

That makes sense. It has that "feverish gaslighting" feel you tend to get from self invested TRAs.

AthenaWhite · 17/12/2022 20:43

Nasty little bunch of delusional incels who you can't call out 'cos they are wearing She badges. Utter harmful bollocks, as much to them as anyone else.

Boiledbeetle · 17/12/2022 21:46

It's probably safe to say that this person's manager isn't being terfy(!?!) just a normal manager as the posters grasp on the reality of a situation is rather lacking as evidenced by:

I will soon only present in girl mode as I am male failing very regularly. I'm scared of her reaction though.

girl mode! FFS. And as for the male failing, yeah cos that will happen as soon as you say out loud "i am a woman."

God I'm so so so sick of this shit.

Wow, that was a lot of words to try and deny the reality of women are women and men are men and no one can wake up one morning and by declaring they are the other sex become it.

I honestly don't care what drugs they take, what surgery they have, what clothes they wear or what pronouns they stick on their email signature. A transwomen is a man, a male of the species. A transman is a woman, a female of the species.
