hijabs: speculations on the repressive nature of not expressing your identity.

Furries: hidden identities are the ultimate expressions of ourselves.

I think it is fairly easy to guess what proportion of people under those inclusive fur suits from 50 countries are white, male and under 35 (and what proportion is Arabic, female and over 50 - rinse, repeat, replace as required).

The BBC is either just lurching from one religious mantra to the next or just going with whatever young white males find cool. who knows...

Let's hope it doesn't end up like the most notorious furry convention of all (best not read while you're having breakfast):

BBC, Cleveland police, ITV...

Minds so open their brains have fallen out, the lot of them.

Why is mainstream media suddenly giving attention to them? Is there a dentons-style lobbying push to get them into the media?

It doesn't take much googling to find the darker elements of this 'community'.
