I personally cannot begin to imagine how anyone from the company can defend it. Just a man joking to other men at the expense of women and girls on their account - bewildering.

The original tweet was sexual one-up-manship. You want, I’ve got him.

What tampax did is transfer that to being about tampons and colonising women’s vaginas. They simultaneously turned the use of tampons into a sexual act and turned all women that used them into objects.

No wonder I didn't get it as in no sane world would anyone see tampons as a sexual object. Oh... Except some men.
