I can't quite believe what I just read on Twitter. Tampax US's Tweet - 'You're in their DMs. We're in them. We are not the same'.

Presumably the 'their' and 'them' are plural pronouns for 'women' or gender neutral terms for 'her'.

Other than stating that their account was hacked by an women hating MRA, I'm not sure Tampax US can say or do anything to put this right.

It's obviously too early or I'm being really dense. But I've read that line a dozen times, and I don't understand what they mean or your point?!

Yes it’s foul. I started a thread on this too. The replies under the tweet are almost worse!

Ignoring the pronoun crap, the sexualising of a menstrual product is just grim.
The pronouns just make it unintelligible.

Apparently, they received an unsolicited DM from a sleeze ball and responded with us this tweet. That in itself seems made up in order to trot out this misogynistic '1 liner'.
Apparently, it has gone down well with millennials who think that women who object are either up tight about bodily functions or fail to grasp subversive humour. I hope they start seeing the light soon

The fact so many women seem to think it’s funny and about removing taboo from periods, rather than a creepy incel style tweet about how Tampax have got inside women’s bodies when men can’t is mind blowing.

And there seems to be some confusion over why teenage girls don't want to share toilets with teenage boys. These are adults, ffs, and this is how they behave. What chance do our teenagers stand? I'm so sick of this crap. Dylan Mulvaney is a tampax ambassador now, and I can only imagine where he puts the damn things.

Apparently will be discussed on Woman’s Hour today. But no mention so far of yesterdays item on “women only” panels which some of us have complained about.
