I agree with most of what he says, leaving aside the fact that beauty pageants are not a women's rights issue, though being able to have women only competitions, is.

I particularly like this line. the mantra now is that your objective reality should be based on my imagination or I'll get angry

Well, I guess if you don't have data, evidence, reality or science to make your case, all you have left is emotion and anger...

I'm really embarrassed for the political left that its people on the right now who are basing what they say on reality and integrity.

I don't think he covered the ecstatic response of the women, the open-mouthed delight as they clapped Brian's win.

What can it take to be so happy at your own failure?

The fear of being accused as bigoted sore losers. They may even have told specifically to cheer the male - whether explicitly told or reading what was left unspoken and what was actually done by the organisers.

This.

You know that young girl, I think she was only about 11, who lost to the adult male in the women's skateboarding competition? It made me really sad when she said how happy she was for the person who won, and how brave that person must have been. It made me really sad that that little girl has been taught not to stand up for herself, not to have boundaries, not to prioritise her winning in a competitive sport, and is doubtless being praised for being kind for doing so.

Same with the women in that competition. We are just not allowed to say. 'this is not bloody fair and I am not bloody happy about it.'
