Green Party Women EGM - Klaxon Call

Green Party women, please join the online EGM on Monday 7.00pm -8.30. You can find a link and details by logging into the Green Spaces website.

The committee has been hobbled by an out of date constitution, as well as endless activists doing their best to shut them down at every turn, and they need women to help vote for a new constitution so they can do more for women, instead of being constantly scuppered.
There are a lot of men on twitter currently trying to recruit votes against the incredible hard work and progress made by the current committee.
If you are a woman and a member of the Green Party, you are eligible to be a member of Green Party Women and can vote.

Please, please do.

So much of this fight is extremely frustrating because it feels we are fighting an uphill battle, but this is one thing where just an hour and a half attending an online meeting and voting can make a huge difference.
If you know any other Green Party women, please remind them of the vote on Monday.

but surely this will just cause an almighty row the first time a male turns up claiming to be female? is that the agenda - lance the boil as it were?
they seem to set great store by assuming the best of each other (against all the evidence it seems) so maybe that is where it will start to fall apart

So near yet so far! If we'd only got a few more votes to push it to 66%. But it shows how important it is for everyone able to vote to do so and get the GP back on the path to sanity.

Closer than I expected and hopeful for the next committee election unless they manage to find some more NBs somewhere down the back of the allotment.

I wonder if CD will see this as a victory or as a sign the issue isn't going away. has anyone experienced the "Healing Toolkit" yet?

I don't know that I can face another election/constitutional debate
