I bet he did then enough MSPs registered there intention to vote against/abstain that it wouldn't have passed hence the u-turn

What did they expect? It is not permitted to vote against the Dire Dear Leader in Tartanistan.
They should think themselves lucky they were not sent to the gulag for re-education.

Is anyone genuinely surprised by this news?! It’s really very simple, and this is all you have to remember - if the Greens with their teensy tiny share of the vote want something then the SNP will ensure it happens, come hell or high water, because it’s the only way they achieve their majority. It will not be questioned by the party stalwarts because independence.

That's it in a nutshell. The SNP. sold out women and children to keep Lorna Slater and Patrick Harvie sweet. Slater is Canadian - is she trying to bring the Clown Trudeau's to Scotland?
Scotland needs a general election now. Holtrood needs clearing now.
