My work has lots of small groups for staff who have something in common, which I have realised are all focussed on a protected characteristic.
The obvious omission is sex, lesbians and maternity. The rainbow decorations are gathering dust as they are permanently up but there is no focus on the pay gap or shocking lack of senior female execs.
I would like to set up a GC Women group. I know this will be provocative, but I think WORIADS and the EA2010 will be protective.
Has anyone done it and can offer advice or caution?
