That's a willfully misinterpretation of the guidance. The guidance does not advise teachers to dismiss the students' feelings or tell them 'it's just a phase'.

NHS England are doing things the the right way, currently Dr Cass has only issued an interim report when the full one comes out it will be harder to ignore. It will be more interesting to discover the views of NHS Scotland than the typical rants of the SNP politicians who love to trash anything with England in the name.
