I’ve got quite a few friends who are experiencing similar issues within their own families, where the parents are of different racial heritage and kids are mixed (and often of varying appearances even when full siblings).
It’s bad enough when this critical race theory stuff pops up in workplaces and institutions but when it gets into the family unit it’s absolutely devastating.
I completely agree with all the points made in the video re: blaming personal difficulties on society renders much of mental health therapy useless.
Critical social justice theory works in direct opposition to something like Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, which is all about identifying the changes you can personally make and enacting them. Starting with the smallest things and building up to the bigger.
I personally worry that telling girls that women have always been oppressed by men and always will be has allowed Genderism to ooze in through the cracks.
After all, why would a modern day teenage girl listen to what silly old oppressed middle-aged Feminist mum has to say, when mum is clearly too stupid to escape her own oppression via a transition to ‘male’?
What could squeeze into the cracks created by critical race theory?
Unlike sex/gender you can’t transition from an oppressed race to an oppressor race (because: IDPOL reasons!) and disaffected men without a clear route towards change are (historically) prone to violence.
Surely no one wants that?
