"When the updated Guidance was released, it became clear that Gendered Intelligence would not be able to support it. We could not deliver training or produce documentation which repeated or supported the core messages of the Guidance, like the claim that, “Competitive fairness cannot be reconciled with self-identification.” This meant that there was no practical way to continue with the work while also supporting the community we serve. We have a responsibility to stand up for better inclusion and equity for trans people in sport, and the updated Guidance does not reflect this. We fed these views back to Sport England, but there are no short term plans to review the Guidance."

Amazing how the word "no" sends a group like GI into a meltdown. Just shows how powerful they've become in removing women's rights and safeguarding that they can't contemplate democratic discussion, factual debate or even contemplating that others have rights.

They are grandstanding, but I think everyone is also waiting for the World Athletics decision next month.

If gendered intelligence really wanted to help encourage/increase trans participation in sports at all levels they would be working with the men's teams to make them more inclusive of transwomen in the same way that women's teams happily accept transmen who aren't on testosterone (due to anti-doping rules).
But they won't because it's not about participation it's about validation of transwomen as women and it would seem from their statement that they don't care about the safety, fairness and participation of women in sports as anything other than validation props

Hopefully Athletics and the ECB/ICC will see sense and make use of their "open" category and protect the female category.

Are they still having meeting with age groups 8 to 28 year olds? Another lot that needs to have their safeguarding policies looked over .

They're not experts on anything (except presumably trans issues). Yet they self identify as experts in education, child psychology, safeguarding, sport, the law, medicine and weigh in with their demands that everything is changed to ensure personal validation. Many useful idiots actually pay them to deliver these demands in the guise of training!

They are literally saying it out loud! Do they really think most trans people don't agree with competitive sport? I just find that so unlikely, so extreme. In my experience trans people and allies do not believe this, in fact are half way gc they just miss what is happening thinking gc are bad meanies, this will help now all these organisations are being so clear they want validation not equality.
