First time I've seen this phrase used in the Guardian but unbelievably it's in an article about the sexism of men deciding abortion law!!!!
This is the headine - "Anti-abortion Republican man says: I wish women could decide on law
Congressman John Curtis of Utah laments lack of women in state legislatures drafting laws – ‘if you’re a woman, it stinks’"......
This is in the text - "Curtis, 62, on Friday acknowledged men held most of the seats in the legislatures determining whether pregnant people could legally obtain abortions in their state and that, “if you’re a woman, it stinks”."
The lack of irony and self-awareness is staggering.
