Did my eyes deceive me or was one of the men who asked a question wearing a "no terfs" shirt? Have women been allowed in adult human female shirts?

Didn’t spot that but I guess Lisa Nandy was relieved that the controversial issue was not mentioned. I was quite surprised given the Mermaids fiasco.

I’m amazed at how little attention this kind of issue gets from the general public - my friends and relatives included. If there was more of a debate in the mainstream media, and it was made clear exactly what is at stake, maybe that would change?

Yep. There he is

Or she. The person has a beard but is also wearing visible mascara.

He has a beard. Says it all.

Probably they. As if one wasn't enough

Apollo442 · 07/10/2022 00:57

I'm sorry. I might have misgendered them. Obviously if they are wearing mascara they could be a woman. Or not. I'll stick with the observation that beards seem to go hand in hand with a certain type of tosser.

I know there's the AHF tee,

But what about a front/back tee sporting "the no-terfs gang"/"would direct your child to mermaids" ?

JellySaurus · 07/10/2022 07:32

Is he making a subtly cynical prod against the trans ideology, by equating it with another bonkers notion? Or am I totally naive and there actually is a 'no-turfs' movement?

(I'll use the pronoun that describes what I'm seeing, until that man confirms his masculinity by trying to coerce me into lying about him.)

JellySaurus · 07/10/2022 07:42

I wonder what the dress code is for audience members. You don't tend to see slogan t-shirts or protest garments on QT. He's not being blatant about the T-shirt. He could have been wearing the fawn shirt buttoned up and later unbuttoned it to reveal the T-shirt.

MyCatIsAChonk · 07/10/2022 14:21

I don't think he's making any sensible comment on the situation.

A few years ago DH was going to be in the QT audience and the list of instructions was exacting. It was clearly stated that no visible labels, logos or slogans of any sort would be permitted. Nothing that could be construed as advertising or brand promotion/placement. It is disturbing that clearly the rules were relaxed for that particular shirt. Usually when you watch QT you wouldn't see anything like that in the audience.
