Daughter’s midwifery course

My daughter has recently started a midwifery course. I was so pleased when she told me today that her tutors are totally against the changing language and use correct terminology such as women, breastfeeding and mother.
I am so pleased to hear this. She said the tutors and students (except one) believe in reality and correct language.

That's so good to hear. Women's health care has been a real target for the creepy males. It's good to hear that women are supporting each other in maintaining accurate sex based language and health care for pregnant women.

I was delighted to recently see our trust's updated breastfeeding guideline. It talks about women, and mothers, and breasts, and breastmilk.

This is so good to hear

It's a sad reflection of how twisted things have become when we are relieved and delighted that a midwifery course knows what a women is.

Even though it’s so ridiculous we should be happy, I knew it would make lots of us on here pleased. There is some common sense still.

another one so pleased to hear this!

It's these small steps that give hope OP - so thank you again for sharing. Women need to know that it IS possible to centre women and girls, to retain our language, sports, healthcare etc and that the toxic trans monolith can't break us - or our spirit.

This!

It makes me so sad that we still as a whole can't speak openly like this.

I opened this thread thinking "oh no, here we go something else awful" so I am so pleasantly surprised to hear this fantastic bit of news!
