'Police are investigating an online threat made against a feminist conference set to be held in Cardiff. The FiLiA Women's Rights Conference will arrive in the capital from October 22 until October 24 and claims to be the largest annual grassroots feminist conference in Europe.

Screenshots were widely circulated on social media of a conversation between two Twitter users, with one asking: "Is it in a building that would be a loss if it burnt down?" Both users' accounts have since been set to private mode.'

Appalling.

Yeah! The poor ickle button who started the thread was all bemused as to why anyone thought he had said anything nasty. Or that the 'burn it down' response was anything but a joke.

He was one of those sad little men who runs as soon as the goose whispers boo!

Here’s the misunderstood banters men

If they use that word terf they think it’s fine. Why didn’t they use the word women 🤷‍♀️

MrsOvertonsWindow · 04/10/2022 14:41

The FILIA conference. Where women discuss VAWG & coercive control, where Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe and others will discuss the terrible things happening to women in Iran, where Raquel Rosario Sánchez speaks with Helen Steel and others targeted as women by the police and so much more. And men like this talk about burning the venue down?

At some stage society is going to have to address the violent extremism that too many trans activists celebrate.

BorgQueen · 04/10/2022 16:08

I wonder if the police will be going to his home to arrest him and take away all his electronics? 😏 Probably not.

ImherewithBoudica · 04/10/2022 16:22

But if the Right Kind of Person says it, and is a Believer in the One True Faith, it's only bantz and hyperbole innit?

Not like when a witch is caught meming. Then every word is gospel truth with accountability.

Interesting that a threat against a building is causing interest where threats to kill and rape women is just shrugged at. Tells female humans where they stand, doesn't it?

Just like last year men had placards threatening the women, many rape survivors, with oral rape.

Joe is currently crybullying away on Facebook, because he's very much the victim in all of this of cause, as some unknown Russian account has "sent" him a vile message. Completely condemn that and he should report to the police, shouldn't be hard if they are knocking on his door.

Oh and all GC women are homophobic, especially, no doubt, lesbians who only shag women.

And don't forget though he's got stuff you can buy to support him....... he's so brave managing to get that in. Stay strong Joe. Stay strong and also stay away from women.
Thanks.

Gosh where are all these violent threats and homophobia from females who campaign for female rights I wonder???

Ereshkigalangcleg · 04/10/2022 16:45

Perhaps it's not a good idea to joke about murdering hundreds of feminist women, Joe. I mean, I can see why you'd have the impression that it was fine, but it isn't.

Isaidnoalready · 04/10/2022 16:48

Pro women doesn't mean terf or anti men so what makes them react like this?

MrsOvertonsWindow · 04/10/2022 16:52

Classic example of DARVO right there, Threaten violence against women - and voila - he's an ikkle victim 🙄

ArabellaScott · 04/10/2022 17:50

That is an outstanding example of DARVO. Really quite impressive. Who wouldn't feel sorry for someone who only asked an innocent arson-related question?

"A transphobic conference under the guise of a feminist conference". Why do they do this? Jog on Joe, you stupid, vile little man.

ImherewithBoudica · 04/10/2022 19:29

Women having rights is transphobic.
Women talking about themselves is transphobic
Women meeting unsupervised and in defiance of said supervisors is transphobic
Women using unapproved language when talking about themselves, their lives, their bodies and their experiences is transphobic
Women talking about their equality of rights is transphobic
Women discussing the law of their country is transphobic

Women are basically just transphobic just by existing, it's now just a form of original sin.

ArabellaScott · 04/10/2022 19:39

Spot on, Boudica.

This!

I wonder off the back of the CF thread, just how well the police are getting on with their investigation here.

They must be flying along at some rate gathering all sorts of evidence going by how quick they were to jump to action over a meme, they'll have picked them up and questioned them, confiscated their devices and all those of any people residing with them too... right?

No? Thought not.

He is vile, isn't he?

I wonder why, though, he received the angry messages rather than the guy who actually made the threat. Is it because Joe had his name on his account and the other person was pseudonymous? Or perhaps the other guy did have messages but Joe wasn't aware of them.
