Caitlyn has spoken out a few times now, in support of female athletes and also Dave Chapelle. The situation is so bizarre.

Never imagined there'd be a day when I agree with Caitlin Jenner, but I do this. But Caitlin, you are part of the problem. What are you going to do about it?

Missing the point but I struggle with Caitlin Jenner. No matter what they do or say, I can't maintain interest. Which is weird, because they're an Olympic medal winner who witnessed a terror attack, were a part of the Kardashian family, became a trans woman, wrote books and received a Woman of the Year award. Despite all this, I find Caitlin so dull that I can't get past their first few sentences without switching off and doing something less boring instead.

Saying that, Americans and others do listen to Caitlin so I'm glad they spoke out for these girls.

Most Americans think Caitlyn Jenner is an arsehole.
She takes advantage of trans issues when it suits her while bashing trans issues for other trans people.
And she’s a rich, out of touch, elitist snob, who talks about “not wanting to step over homeless people on the way to my private plane.”
She ran for governor of California and left in the midst of the race to compete on Big Brother Australia, which tells you how devoted she is - she brought in 1% of the vote. She was convinced she’d win.
Trans people, in particular, can’t stand her.
She’s neither a sympathetic nor popular figure here. She’s alienated everyone, from the trans community to women to the sports world to everyone in between. Nobody wants to hear from Caitlyn Jenner - she’s worn out her welcome.

Quite possibly true. Which is why there's not been more pushback yet - a lot of people still have yet to encounter its effects, and are living in blissful ignorance.

The level of pushback you're seeing now is what you get when a huge chunk of the population think this isn't really happening, cos it hasn't hit them yet.

People suddenly wake up when they find a man in their single-sex rape crisis group, or sport, or any other single-sex space. Or find their child deciding they have to have puberty blockers.

Whatever anti-gender-identity-ideology pushback you're seeing now can easily be many, many times larger. We know there's a huge mass of unaware people, and we know which way most will go.

Everything we do is about sunlight - getting people to listen to trans activists, and watch what they're doing. We don't really have to make arguments - just raising awareness of what's happening is sufficient.

It's the 'you're beautiful when you're angry darling' that gets shouted after a woman in the street who's just been openly sexually called after and insulted by men she's walked past, and has shown any reaction in her face.

It is, quite bluntly, enjoyment of the power to make her uncomfortable and intimidated and to thoroughly enjoy her discomfort and powerlessness as much as the man enjoying getting to tell her what he's thinking and wanting to do to her body.

'Cool and groovy' is not a label that any male can use towards themselves while behaving towards half the human race in this repulsive way.

I think that’s quite telling isn’t it? Jenner killed someone in a car crash, but that wasn’t enough to “wear out a welcome” because Jenner was shortly after named Woman of the Year. It’s being the wrong sort of trans and not toeing the party line and being - shock! - a rich Republican, that gets you shunned.

I get the feeling that because Jenner speaks the truth and sense on trans issues people don't like them.

Did Jenner ever compete in the Olympics as a woman? No. Does Jenner believe that it is unfair that trans women can compete as women? Yes. I can't see how that is benefiting from trans rights whilst "taking it away" from others.

Jenner knows the biological differences between trans women and women, probably defined as "truscum" and that is why people don't like Jenner.

There is now this belief that someone is trans if they say they are. Jenner has used hormones and had surgery, that would be medically/biologically transition as opposed to social transition, which just demands others treat you as the opposite sex.

Hang on. CJ is saying all this and yet plays women’s golf apparently? According to the article. I wonder if she’s differentiating herself because it sounds like she’s had bottom surgery?

Jenner went on to defend the right of the trans student to use the female locker room under Vermont law, but also defended the right of the girls to feel uncomfortable at sharing it with 'basically a biological boy with a penis.'

CJ didn't speak out on behalf of female athletes; CJ spoke out on behalf of both sides. CJ thinks trans people should have the right to use the changing room of their choice - but when 'the Left' says exactly the same thing, they are 'hijacking trans for their own agenda and tearing the country apart.
Its a muddled statement. I hope CJ can find someone to pick the splinters out of CJ's arse.

I don’t think the penis etc has been removed. Hormones have been imbibed, but this is another ‘lesbian ‘ relationship.
Jenner likes attention, and doesn’t want to share it IMHO. So other people declaring their different status and pronouns is watering down the exclusivity and thus the attention. Naughty Naughty.
