Safeguarding for all: The FA

The FA are promoting this weekend as Play Safe. The FA’s Survivor Support and Safeguarding Advisory Group have written a training course and encouragement parents to learn more about their role safeguarding in football.

This is as a direct result of the historical sex abuse scandals and inaction taken by football clubs and the FA over the years.

Yet the The FA Trans inclusion policy still allows cross dressers to self id in to the girls changing room and as supervising girls under 16 in changing rooms/showers/overnight trips. And parents will not be told if a TW will be present and supervising their daughters.

How is this not a safeguarding risk?!

Respect, yes of course you’re right. It’s a huge safeguarding risk. As it is for many organisation (eg the Guides). Wonder if they really haven’t thought it through, they just don’t care, or they’re still just hoping it won’t happen (despite the evidence that it already has)🤔
