Sorry @TalaTheStoryteller, you thought the woman who between giving so much money to charity & paying her taxes in full she went from billionaire to millionaire was bullying another millionaire how?
Mr Wedding-in-Hello is not a bashful wee wallflower - he describes himself as having lived a high-profile life from the age [of] 15 to 38. Arguably he also holds considerably more privilege than Rowling - it’s an argument about the [exact] degree/extent as opposed to the existence of it.
Publishing 42 articles in a week attacking someone because you essentially consider them a heretic? That meets the definition of bullying.
Cohen having “only” 31.3K followers to Rowling’s 13.9M is neither here nor there. He’s a public figure who’s repeatedly attacked Rowling: why shouldn’t she, on this occasion, have picked him up on damaging agenda-ridden nonsense he was spouting? It was wholly relevant to the discussion - & he made an absolute show of himself trying to claim his husband hadn’t been involved with Mermaids for “several” years. I do hope said husband is better with numbers, given doctors need to be able to do a certain amount of maths, particularly to calculate drugs doseages.
Just as using words people do not like is not “literal violence”; nor is speaking the truth as Rowling has here bullying.
