Disappointing, they have been great up until now with using very clear language regarding women, Womens anatomy, the reproductive cycle and periods. Now this nonsense.

Well, I mean, it's technically true, since bleeding means the egress of blood from a cut or puncture in a vein/artery. Menstruation, on the other hand, is the shedding of endometrial tissue. Only women can do that.

PaddleBoardingMomma · 11/09/2022 21:06

You are, of course, entirely correct.

Dr Suzanne Forbes-Vierling would have issues with that image too as she's done a lot on the racist origins of gender neutral language. Slaves were seen as 'breeders' and a commodity.

Slaves (the women) were seen as 'breeders' and a commodity, that should say . In order to "breed more slaves."

The second video is shorter and hits main points home more quickly and hard.

So Yoni is translated to womb. Their website still looks female centred, I'm guessing they will update it. I'm confused about that image is it showing a man or supposed to be a hairy legged woman? Where was this posted?

Is the woman supposed to be non binary?

If so very offensive to those of us who do not have a particularly ample bosom.

Means we aren't women. I was a late developer and this v sensitive to this.

SameSkyDifferentPlanet · 12/09/2022 17:29

If they are bleeding from their pants area to the point of needing anything that Yoni can provide, ‘some genders’ really need to book a doctors appointment fairly swiftly.

dmask · 12/09/2022 17:48

Where was this posted? I can’t find it anywhere?

SignOnTheWindow · 12/09/2022 18:03

I dunno. Can't work up more than an eye roll at this. Looks like it's trying to tread a very careful line by differentiating gender from sex - i.e. multiple (!!) genders bleed from the vagina but only one sex does (the website refers to female-sexed bodies).

So you might identify as cat gender (huge, huge eye roll), but if you've got menstrual blood coming out of your vag, then you're definitely female.

The company shared this Instagram post to their story (which would have disappeared after 24 hours): www.instagram.com/p/CiW7RVtDM7f It is confusing as it seems to be about all sorts of issues 🤔 I have screenshotted the description.

Are you sure it was them? I can’t even see that Yoni have an instagram account?

MrsJamin · 12/09/2022 21:56

Do you know what, I can't find the account yoni.care either. It's still linked to from their website yoni.care/. Why would they leave Instagram all of a sudden?

PaddleBoardingMomma · 13/09/2022 07:52

It definitely was them and definitely their account but it’s just disappeared! Very strange, wonder what happened?
