'Protest' at EHRC HQ

Honestly don't read any further if you're eating!

apple.news/Aak8wOhpRTUqxtEgvpSq0Kw

If you don't want to give the misogynists at VICE any clicks then I will summarise - trans rights activists left over 60 bottles of urine outside the HQ of the EHRC to protest their policy on trans access to single sex spaces. One trans protester (I'll let you guess their sex) also emptied multiple bottles of said urine all over themselves on the side of the street, as well as wetting themselves for good measure! No arrests made, obviously!

I'm so disgusted. Hopefully this just shows the EHRC why we need single sex spaces. There's disgusting photos at the bottom of the article, clearly this is nothing but a fetish to the 'protester'.

Maybe I've been to the Royal Academy too much but the image of the man in a duck mask pouring urine is very striking - certainly on a par with many photos and other works in the recent RA Summer exhibition. As such, it is memorable on many levels and I am sure will be used often. Thanks, guys!

Very disturbing - FFS, no way people like that should get access to women's single-sex spaces.

NotTerfNorCis · 08/09/2022 08:36

This is awful. Poor woman. twitter.com/TalulaThe/status/1567707934150332418?t=IToEC5u-negwux_DQt1Duw&s=19

Anyone got an eyeball cleaner? 😵
Yeah that's not someone I want to share toilets, hospital ward or changing rooms with.

TastefulRainbowUnicorn · 08/09/2022 09:44

I don’t know how they manage to be so distasteful and yet also so fucking boring.

It’s an achievement, of a sort, so congratulations to the piss artist.

(And thanks for that photo! Unlike anything else this person has created, I think that photo might live on in history.)

I think someone needs to step in and get that poor guy some help from the mental health team, and I mean that very very kindly. He doesn't look at all well, and if he was my son I would want some serious intervention and some compassion. He very clearly needs help, and I think it is very sad to see that posted anywhere.

This is what welcoming "kink shaming" as something to be avoided in our society does. No boundaries, no limits, no satisfaction ultimately. We all need boundaries to push against. It was the role of religion. Now gone broadly speaking, serious minded adults need to fill that void, or we all go mad. That is just sense to me. These days it would be described as conservatism, but it really isn't.

Festoonlights · 08/09/2022 09:58

Back in the real world, that is one person badly in need of sectioning.

I almost feel sorry for the trans movement (if some of them were not so full of hate) if this is the head line act, and he has become their leading light.

Women are all most definitely here now to say enough is enough calmly and concisely, they can do what they want in their own space but stay out of ours, keep away from our children and there is the number for the mental health crash team.

I would like to know why he hasn't been charged by the police.

ArabellaScott · 08/09/2022 10:33

The person in the gofund looks like they need an intervention. I hope they are able to access some solid support.

IcakethereforeIam · 08/09/2022 10:39

I hope, with the closer of the gender wing of the Tavistock and the rejigging of gender services, part of the treatment will involve taking a good look at the people around the patient. I don't know if this would help the 'artists' partner though as she's an adult.

Datun · 08/09/2022 10:45

Yes, it's got shades of attention seeking toddler. Something that just has to be dealt with as part of every day life, but you'd rather it wasn't in front of guests 'put it away darling, no one is looking.'

ArabellaScott · 08/09/2022 10:47

It's boring because it's not actually subverting anything. Kicking against the long-vanished imaginary pricks of about 1950 - this is exactly what Grayson Perry talks about in his Reith Lecture.

www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b03f9bg7

ArabellaScott · 08/09/2022 10:49

I'm using 'kicking against the pricks' in its sense of subversion, not directing an insult at anyone, just to be clear.

Which, I now discover, is in fact a Biblical quote. Who knew?

NotBadConsidering · 08/09/2022 11:09

It’s like someone watch Vulva from Spaced and thought it wasn’t aggressive enough 😵‍💫

Festoonlights · 08/09/2022 11:23

I have friends that work with kids with gender issues - the younger bracket of 8-18 years and every single one of them has mental health issues ranging from moderate to very severe. A sickening number have been sexually abused.

None were asked questions or diagnosed as having mental health problems by their GP when discussing gender fluidity in the initial stages. Although I understand this is changing. There is the formation, at least a consensus building across the board that the children, teenagers and young people experiencing issues around gender identity need early intervention, early support for mental health not drugs to change their gender.

Hence the closing of Tavistock and a real concerted effort now to give young people proper support.

When you see the very sad and twisted life of this poor chap posted on here, I think it is now completely obvious that poor mental health is behind much of this. Not all, obviously there are rare cases of genuine gender identity issues that usually start from birth, but on the whole these are people that have been failed in one way or another.
So now they are reduced to pouring urine over themselves, this is not so much as a cry for help or wanting to use the ladies loo, but a screaming symbol of how little we are doing to support people and their mental health.

BoredofthisCrap7 · 08/09/2022 11:30

Going by the look of some of those bottles of urine, there's an awful lot of really dehydrated TRAs out there. Must be so busy planning pathetic "demonstrations" that they are forgetting to drink enough.

Seriously....THESE are the people they want to be allowed to share spaces with girls and women?
Urine fetishists wearing duck gimp masks?

Yeah, come on in guys!

On another note, if you're trying to pass as a women, probably best not to wet the front of your hideous dress thereby outlining the very obvious shape of your underwhelming cock and balls.

HTH.

TheClogLady · 08/09/2022 12:36

For some reason this puts me in mind of the cutted up pear post.

like, it’s fine if this is what you think of as art, but it’s definitely not a convincing argument that ‘trans feminine people’ are vulnerable and should be admitted to female only spaces on the basis of that vulnerability.

pick a side, transactivists, either this is normal ‘queer’ behaviour OR male transitioners should be treated as women in legal terms.
you can’t have both.

Puzzled: they're arguing for access to women & girls changing rooms and loos - would any of us send a 5 year old daughter into the loo alone with this man?
Is that seriously what they're arguing for?
And the bottles of pee - it's something primeval - marking territory with urine - like my lovely dog. Only less civilised.

For those unacquainted with the cutted up pear post:

And yes, the behaviour of little boys when when confronted by bloody difficult women is strikingly familiar.
