Swansea University Feminist Society billed itself as a "space away from men". No surprises then that the MRAs and their handmaidens initiated a pile-on.

Funny how the TRAs are all obscuring their faces. You'd think that if they were on the "right side of history", they'd own it, not try and avoid identification.

Appalling. The intimidation these poor women faced and then their students union effectively disbanded them. (Minor point Ddraig, no photos in this article that I can see, what am I missing?)

It does make me wonder if more and more teens who live up to university will become utterly sick if this shit and perhaps will begin to resist the idiocy? <hopeful>

I'm thinking of my own eldest's cohort, y5, who all seem to be very sensible and all love Harry styles and the lionesses. It does help that all the parents I know understand sexism and basic biology.

I know the name Cathy Larkman who is quoted in 'The Times' piece as being from the Women's Rights Network Wales. I think she's the retired senior police officer (superintendent?) who blew the whistle on the appalling policy that allows male police officers to self ID as women and search women, regardless of what the women think of this. Oh, and then the objecting women could be charged with a hate crime.

I hope it's the same Cathy. She's a terrific woman to have onside.
