Australian detransitioner suing psychiatrist over (lack of) care.

As the thread title says, really - Jay Langadinos is suing the psychiatrist who facilitated her transition; claiming that he failed to provide an adequate standard of care. All affirmation no exploration is a scandal; & the refusal by TRAs to even consider the children & young people whose lives are ruined by said approach is inexcusable.

Women, in particular, are also conditioned to blame themselves for things that aren't their fault.

And even on this thread we have been told by one poster that this young woman only has herself to blame.

Even though she was a confused and anxious teenager, and the people who told her she was trans and needed medical treatment were unknown people on the internet, a psychiatrist and various other medical professionals.

Let's start putting the blame where it belongs. All the people who should know better and shouldn't have jumped on board with this ideology without really thinking about what it was and where it would lead. The doctors, psychiatrists, politicians, lobby groups like Mermaids and Stonewall, and everyone posting on the internet who tries to persuade children and young people that they must be 'trans' if they dislike the stereotypes for their sex or are attracted to members of their own sex.

They need to stop insisting that dysphoria = trans.

Teenage girls disliking or being uncomfortable their changing bodies is normal.

Girls discovering they are same sex attracted are now being told that if they don't want to have sex with men that there is something wrong with them, they are a bigot, or they must be a 'man'.
There is no support for these young lesbians because every LGBTQ++++++ school/social club only centres the TQ and pushes gender ideology.

Although comments are - as icakethereforeiam said earlier - off on Twitter, the QTs of the article are overwhelmingly positive & supportive. They also demonstrate that the world is watching what’s happening…

It is not just the UK that will be grateful for the work of Dr Cass. The detailed report followed by clear (panicked) UK Government action will provide good background from the Sydney morning Herald or anyone wanting to argue against early transition without being accused of Transphobia.
