I haven’t heard the content on the Tonie so I can’t comment on the stories, but I’m sure there are loads more charities that Tonies could collaborate with that don’t encourage sexist stereotypes.

I am completely fine with stories about families that come in all shapes and sizes etc, but I do have an issue with money going to a charity that has a history of championing operating on healthy children for aesthetic / validating purposes.
I have a problem with the GI Joe / Barbie stereotypes (especially towards children) and I take issue with some of their ambassadors.
I was going to buy three Tonie stories today (Shopping for stocking fillers )

I don’t see an issue with the Strictly guy reading a story for children. I’m sure he wouldn’t do Cbeebies bedtime stories in a crop top and to be honest, he looks pretty fab in it!

I wonder whether Mermaids approach companies for charity donations / collaborations like influencers do or whether Tonies approached Mermaids. I can just imagine what their pitch would be.
