Jeez, one of the biggest groups on Facebook 'Family Lowdown Tips and Ideas'
has decided to join the Trans bandwagon and only allows gushing trans supportive posts and deletes all posts that are gender critical and any that state that you cannot change your biological sex.

I'm an ordinary 50 odd yr old housewife but I'm bloody seething about all this crap being pushed onto us and censoring any ordinary sensible debate.

The recent thread on here about Parkrun replacing 'sex' with 'gender' is just the tip of the iceberg. Grrrrrrrrr 🤬

Hmm interesting, I've just had a look at their rules they state zero tolerance of prejudice and discrimination and another rule mentions no political discussion. Facebook says that the group has posted content that violates community standards. It's therefore possible they've had posts deleted by Facebook rather than admins, the algorithm can be rather harsh. Alternatively, groups can be shut down if they have too many violations, so the admins may be trying to be safe than sorry and over egging the pudding.

I was thrown off a bloody true crime podcast group of all things! They had an amazing psychologist on to talk about domestic violence, she was a world expert on the subject. Then it all kicked off because someone trawled her twitter and found out she was GC and there was a big Facebook/twitter kickoff by TRAs and 'allies' and a solelm a apology from the hosts for airing content by 'problematic people' 🙄 I pushed back, got called a whole host of name. I felt like I was living in some sort of parallel universe. This psychologist had done absolutely amazing things for women and here were a bunch of leftie infants basically ripping into her. I managed about half a day of arguing (and I NEVER argue online!!!) before getting the boot by the woke mods. It was one of the grossest things I've seen online. The group were baying for blood!

Weirdly, I’ve just resurrected a zombie thread with a very similar post. I’ve been blocked by a Radio 4 group for daring to suggest that gender ideology is just a belief and we don’t all have to believe in it. I am also a member of a Feminist FB group which, depressingly, is about 20% trans gush.

Only 20%, that's practically terfy!

Believing that sex is real and that it matters it's now a protected belief. I don't know if Facebook themselves would come under discrimination legislation, or whether or not the moderators of the individual groups are affected by it.

But just saying it's discriminatory might help.

The UK ones I'm in seem to have less support and are much less gushy about Trans posts than the US ones.

I've mentioned before a group I'm in (I actually think it's Aussie) and you are not even allowed to state legislative facts if they are not pro-trans for fear of being shut down or banned (particularly regarding 'trans kids', which I find particularly chilling).

I got booted off a big U.K. group for pointing out that there was no trans murder epidemic in the U.K. with figures. You'd think they would be glad!

I got booted off a wild camping group for merely liking a comment which said males don't have periods.

The admin had booted the offender and were then bullying him, commenting on his appearance etc. It was shocking to behold.

Another admin added me again later because he was shocked by the whole thing.

I've also been booted from the Facebook run "poweradmins" group for challenging a "non binary" person who thought that everyone who disagreed with them on the use of "ladies and gentlemen " should be banned from Facebook. Ladies and gentlemen is a hate crime. I called that bullying behaviour and I'll stand by it.

Facebook is literally pushing all of this to admins of groups. Papering over the cracks of their awful behaviour regarding data breaches, Brexit, trump etc. Facebook is good and holy etc.

Poweradmins who called people "terfs" were safe of course.

There were no "transphobic" comments.
