Apparently the choking was a joke but Medlock got kicked out of cheerleader camp and charged so I guess the teenager didn't find it funny. She also barricaded herself in a locker room with other girls and called her dad. I can imagine being chocked by a 25 year old male bodied person must be pretty terrifying.

According to this article, the girls had also complained about Medlock exposing their genitals in the women's changing room

Regardless of above why are there so many photos included?

if Madlock had problems with her or what she said, there's other ways to sort it other than assaulting her.

But as we all know, male-bodied people (previously know as ‘men’) have a tendency to do this sort of thing - to both women and men.

Which is why many of us don’t want them in our single-sex spaces….

It’s not really the face that’s the issue though is it, it’s the male body, muscled by a male puberty filled with testosterone for a good few years, which increases muscle strength, height and weight. Oh , and the penis, let’s not forget the penis……..

Weird, isn't it. I'm guessing that the person in question has all of these on their social media accounts (I hope to god they didn't pay anyone to do all that photoshopping cos it's rotten), and even the Daily Fail somehow decided to seize the opportunity to be sexist, despite the object of their scrutiny and "phwoar"ing being male. It's bizarre as feck.

I wonder who's face this person has stolen for their "ID"? If it were mine, I'd be hollering blue murder about it.

Well, my first thought on the audio was ‘inarticulate idiot’ but that is the standard of education these days.

We weren’t there. We didn’t see what happened. I have no idea whether the 25 year old transgender cheerleader tried to strangle the 17 year old female cheerleader.

However, I question why a 25 year old of any sex and/or gender would stand outside a teenager’s dorm room begging to be let in or the occupants to come out.

Also not clear on why a 25 year old is on a college cheerleading team in the first place. That is usually an undergrad thing.

One might even think the journalists have spotted a pattern of (male) behaviour!

I suspect the reaction of the university might indicate that there was sufficient evidence to believe the girl.

And the photos are utterly bizarre. I wonder why the newspaper included quite so many of them.

The inclusion of so many photos is surely to highlight the nature of the person involved. Including, to show well developed biceps. It is a small selection compared to what is on their Facebook and social media pages.

I am not sure why that person thought releasing the audio file was going to help. They seem to lack any self awareness of what that audio file portrays, a 25 year old acting inappropriately with a 17 year old. As well as the male cues that are obvious in other ways.

I suspect that the barrage of modified selfies and the release of the supposed to be exonerating audio file makes clear the personality, maturity level and lack of understanding of boundaries of that male. It really is all
about them.

Even if it was a "joke", it can't surely be a"joke" for an adult to put their hands to the throat of a minor.

And it obviously happened because the girls in the corridor say it did by saying it was a "joke".

Given the size of the individual we see at the end walking past the girls in the corridor, they're massive in comparison to the rest of the squad. For a 17 year old girl to have that person "joke-strangling"(?) her, it's hard to imagine that she's making up that she was scared.

But all of that is besides the point because any adult who thinks they can throttle a teen as a joke clearly has extremely concerning decision making abilities.

I do wonder too if this had been California (it was Texas) if the outcome would have been the same.
