Men who have sex with men is a kind of medical term. I came across it last year. Some men have sex with men but don't think of themselves as gay. I really don't get it myself.

But it's not being offered to transmen who have sex with men is it? It's only been offered to people with penises.

So why doesn't this say 'men and ejaculating people?' Or just people with penises?

Presumably bi sexual men have sex with men and women too so why isn’t the vaccine being offered to women who have sex with men who have sex with men and women?

I noticed that in too if I remember rightly.
They were probably trying to downplay their part in promoting T while enhancing their
relationship to their useful vector of LB; and imply, by omission of transwomen as a description, that TW are simply part of Lesbian and Bi.

Their main Twitter picture seems to be dialling down the T. It's got a heart with rainbow colours but not the new expanded set of colours. Their promotion of the rainbow captain's armband for football is also just the former rainbow, no T added.

why can't they just say promiscuous people, because that is the truth. Just like AIDS this is not a gay disease, those with multiple partners are at higher risk.

You're right. It's promiscuity that is causing the spread, and not sexuality or even the sexual acts themselves.

Quite different to the spread of HIV, where the risks are high with unprotected anal sex.

And that's why ALL sexual entertainment venues should have been closed for a short period to stop the spread. This will absolutely be rife within the Swingers community as well. It's the close skin to skin contact that creates the risk of spreading it, not which genitals you possess or where you put them.

A friend of mine who worked in the campaign for sexual health during the AIDS epidemic said that not enough men were following the advice until they came up with the expression "men who have sex with men".

As for only referring to promiscuous people, that sounds a bit judgmental, doesn't it? Lots of people get infected even though they are faithful and in long-term relationships
