Joanna Cherry tweeted about a man who's up in court for threatening her because of her belief that Sex Matters. Lynne quibbled about whether it was a belief or a protected characteristic (bit hard to see why this was relevant - and she was wrong anyway).

A member of Liberal Voice for Women (GC LibDems) challenged her for ignoring what had actually happened to Joanna, and Lynne's reply was "Yes it’s awful - but two wrongs etc. and you and other GCs are responsible. I wish you would spend your time more constructively on fighting male violence - which is a real threat to womens’ freedom."

She seems to pick on women on Twitter in a really unpleasant way. She had a pop at Nimco Ali not long ago, really patronised her.
