Some people (not necessarily even female people) object to 'mother' as a sexed term. How does replacing it with another sexed term make it inclusive or neutral or whatever? All it does is erase and exclude women. And confuse people!

As for neutral terminology, the term 'human milk' has been in use for decades to indicate milk from an adult human female who may or may not be the infant's birth-mother, as opposed to cow's milk or formula of any sort.
