How did less than 1% rise to power so easily?

I saw a youtube video done by Blaire white and Buck Angel. They both made very interesting points as they are both trans and they said “How did less than 1% of the population become so powerful so quickly? How is it that they’ve got entire countries walking on eggshells?”

I found that so interesting because I started thinking about it and… Hear me out. I am a pagan. We are a very small religious subgroup but we are still definitely bigger than 1% of the population yet we aren’t even legally recognized as a religion in canada. In fact I often still find myself explaining to others what a pagan is. Many people have never heard of us. How can that be?

I suspect foul play. Perhaps it is because someone is profiting off of their transitions and all the drugs they are pushing on them. After all once one transitions that is a life time of medication. You can’t take that back even if you detransition. You are completely committed.

Or maybe all us pagans need to do is start threatening people and calling them paganphobic. We will quickly be established as a religion have a flag and have pagan parades while everyone silently hates us because we have the entire world dancing around our feelings. lol

Interestingly, on another thread, a person happened to mention that in her synagogue, she knows a couple of people including a relative who have both transitioned and converted to Judaism. The poster mentioned that they felt they were troubled people in their lives reaching out to religion. I thought it interesting that it could be both.

She also posted the results of a survey saying there had a been a rise in trans converters.
