Albeit slowly slowly but thankfully an end to this immediate affirmation and medicalisation treatment is in sight.

The problem with that Mail article - and the survey about what one's 'gender' is is that people are still confusing 'gender' with 'sex'.

Gender can be anything! Any-bloody-fucking-thing you like! It's meaningless! It's just hairstyles and clothes and toys! It's just social convention, which is arbitrary and fluid.

Gahhhhhhhhh. Feminists have been arguing this for so long, it's like banging your head off a brick wall. Why is it so bloody hard for people to understand?

Sex is immutable. Gender is bullshit. That's it.
