So this turned up in a recent happy meal from McDonalds - disclaimer, I’m old, veteran of New Romaricism, Goth - and absolutely no problem with people expressing themselves however they choose….

Is this meant to be Aunt Lucy?

Have googled extensively and am simply curious 😊

I think it’s just Paddington in a costume.

At a guess the toy range is going to be Paddington in various costumes

I had an Aunt Lucy as a child and she had a checked shawl and glasses and I think a dark skirt. It was years ago, but that is definately NOT Aunt Lucy, it is Paddington in a skirt

I agree, it must be Paddington because of the hat and duffle coat. Why is he wearing a skirt over his duffle coat?

Where did you get it? A Google search isn't returning any results that look like that. (And it's a pretty poor representation of Paddington.)

I googled everything on the label and it’s by a company called Havi.

Am mostly curious as to secondary market value of course as I am interested in collectibles 😊

It’s just Paddington in a skirt which is fine because skirts shouldn’t define gender. Paddington is still male 😊
I’m never going to collect stuff like this again as we still have about 6 meerkats that we can’t get rid of. I would rather just do an extra hour at work than go to the effort of auctioning then posting them. 😊

Just discovered on the bottom of the box that this is Dancer Paddington 😊 Very small writing which is why I didn’t see it immediately 😊

Which clears it up nicely for any future potential sale as didn’t want to mis - label 😊

Actually wondered if it was Pride related or something, and thought it was the better place to ask than AIBU as people here are on top of alot of trends and marketing 😊

As I say, no agenda, don’t give a flying fig what clothes people wear 😊 or anthropomorphised bears for that matter.

I’m hoping there’s a royal regalia one somewhere after the fabulous Jubilee video 😊
