STV news at 6 (main Scottish national news) just ran a segment regarding Sharron Davies and her stance on keeping sex based spaces, especially in sport.

She has made her view known for a while now and it's great they ran it but any reason why they are running it now? Not that I'm complaining...

She was up in Scotland with Mara Yamauchi speaking to MSPs about the impact of self ID (being pushed through on the GRR bill) impacts women & girls sport. The only 'experts' the committee working on the bill heard from were men who said there was nothing to see, move along etc.

Aah so not random. I maybe should've listened better!

Of course, the usual drivel.

To whom should the committee pay attention if they wish to arrive at a balanced view. An actual female Olympic medallist and holder of records in her sport?

Men who don't see a problem and deny it exists?

🤔

More to the point, that female human has first hand experience of being beaten into second place by a cheat.

factoid - the tall man on the left in the twitter pic is former international 400m runner Brian Whittle who is now an MSP.
