She was brave enough to challenge spurious comments about intersex people on our company Intranet thing.

I commented on single sex spaces, a couple of years ago and the pile on was brutal, so I keep my powder bone dry, now.

I emailed her privately to tell her that I'm also one of the Terven.

And judging from her comments on the same thread, think I may even have found another one.

I'm so relieved, cos I felt like I was going mad.

Don’t count the gender critical. Count the activists. You can guarantee every single one of them is ‘out’ in the workplace.

Oh yes! The message board is awash with them spouting their woke bullshit.

You know you won't get any sense out of someone with pronouns in their email address - not even just their bloody signatures.
That must be old hat now.

I genuinely feel energised to have found her - which is ridiculous, really. She isn't on the Vipers Nest, so i've forwarded a link to this board.

I wouldn't do that at work- she might not be a GC feminist at all, she might just know about DSD's.

I read through the whole thread and she knew her onions about lots of elements of the debate, so I knew she was pretty terfy.

She said that she's called people out who have said it at work, but (in truth) it doesn't bother her anymore.

We've now swapped personal phone numbers to talk about it offline.

I found a fellow terf at work. Can't remember how now, but I realised we were very much in tune over stuff. We attend compulsory D&I training online and send each other rolly eye emojis when the language is wrong 😊 I've even started to question a few things and she usually says something like "I was wondering that". We're an ace tag team

One of the guys at work pulled someone up on the use of “gender” in a Teams meeting where sex would have been more appropriate. He doesn’t work on my site and our paths are unlikely to cross in person in the foreseeable future. He’s gay and it does seem that awareness amongst gay men is growing. It was tantalising, I tell you. 😂

My workplace anecdote is that I work in a low paid industry with an all female team, most of them are in their 20s or 30s. Last year they asked me about Filia and what it was all about when they knew I was going to the conference in Portsmouth.

I tried my best to explain my gender critical beliefs but think they all thought I was just "old fashioned' and I should embrace the philosophy of "live and let live". Since then they have all picked up odd articles in the mainstream press and then approach me when they read something that annoys them, e.g. the erasure of the word woman or gender ideology being taught in schools.

Compared to my colleagues I am now the moderate voice.

Compared to my colleagues I am now the moderate voice.

I wonder if there is a more general sense of this which might account for the redoubled efforts to convince people that they should not listen to the Terven, The Helen Collective (as seen on Twitter), or [insert dehumanising/ostracising term of choice]?

If this discussion is escaping into the wild, maybe there's a desperate sense of a tipping point and a need to shove people into outgroups by public social media ostracism as a deterrent. Yes, even of Owen Jones.

I don't go out in the world these days, but I do have a lovely GC cleaner.

Every Thursday I basically pay her the first half hour of her shift just to rant about all the politically correct shit she has to conform with in her other jobs. She has such a hard time keeping her mouth shut and her head down that as soon as she's through the door it just flows like a river!!

There is no be kind in my house! You say what you see!

Of course I may have been the one to open her eyes in the first place after she made a couple of comments one day that I absolutely cannot, unfortunately, repeat on here. You'll just have to use your imaginations. You'll probably guess correctly.
