From Fair Cop:

"The is part of a genuine tender document. The NHS is prepared to award contracts and thereby compromise patient care based on a suppliers membership of Stonewall. (Thanks to our whistle blower)." t.co/7lu1hcSYhD

That is corruption.

Imnobody4 · 07/06/2022 09:47

What was it Allison said 'a protection racket'. This is disgraceful, hope the press picks it up.

ScreamingMeMe · 07/06/2022 10:07

Of all the captured organisations, I think the NHS amy be the worst, although the police give some stiff competition.

Wow. That’s corruption

MrsMidClegs · 07/06/2022 10:43

That is outrageous. I know in tenders it is usual to ask things that the average punter might find odd, (slavery practices, etc) but they are in line with various laws. This is again Stonewall sidling Stonewall Law in via the back door.
Have to hand it to them, though, this is a clever move.

Clangyleg · 07/06/2022 10:47

Where is the info that it is the NHS?

GroggyLegs · 07/06/2022 10:53

I wonder if it goes into all that specification detail for all the other protected groups?

Agree. It will have been heavily targeted, of course. And I suspect the unbelievable complexity and top-heaviness of its ridiculous bureaucracy actually make it more susceptible to absorbing this kind of thing - because it cleaves to and exults in 'rules', and Stonewall has created a whole new set of rules to address problems - some of which are created or at least exaggerated by the organisation itself. Same goes for civil service and education. It's like red tape self-replicates and breeds illogical rules.

Cuck00soup · 07/06/2022 12:14

It's not even new.

All NHS commissioning tenders and subsequent contracts have an E&D section.

Even when the KPIs don't specifically refer to SW in their wording, providers who are diversity champions are able to use this in their "evidence". All part of the racket.
