Well done Allison. Your tribunal means this can now be covered at length in the mainstream media. More sunlight!

The Law section in the paper of record includes this:

"McGahey compared the idea of encouraging male-bodied people to break through the cotton ceiling and have sex with lesbians with Nelson Mandela’s fight to end racial segregation in post-apartheid South Africa."

There's a great comment underneath:

"In Pride Month, I’d like to see all the companies who suddenly go rainbow and start talking about the LGBTQ++ community speaking up against the cotton ceiling - which is, after all, a form of lesbian conversion therapy.

I’m not holding my breath."

It's difficult to understand how people who try to force lesbians to accept penis believe they are progressive.

At the same time they think we are on the wrong side of history for mentioning the well-established fact that the vast majority of young people who feel confused about their gender desist as they get older.

Under cross-examination by Bailey’s barrister, Ben Cooper QC, McGahey defended the idea of overcoming the cotton ceiling, and suggested that “you can persuade a lesbian that she might want to . . . have sex with a trans woman in a way that was not coercive”.

How is trying to persuade a lesbian to sleep with men not conversion therapy, ffs?
Can't they hear themselves??

A spokeswoman for the council declined to state whether the body stood by McGahey’s comments, but said that any guidance from the ethics helpline was not legal advice and that the body accepted no responsibility or liability for any action taken in reliance on it.

Hmmm. That sounds like an employer trying to distance themselves from the comments made by one of their employees...

It truly is clown world. This ideology makes utter clowns out of people.
