Wow, had a look at the tweets she sent expecting them to be at least.....impolite or something.

They are completely reasonable, literally just saying that a man can't be a lesbian!

I assume that's the upper end of the potential punishment for the particular charge being brought.

And he was being directly abusive to an individual in a Facebook spat - clearly beyond this straightforward feminist campaigning.

I must be going senile. I thought Amnesty was meant to support political prisoners, not to get people imprisoned for wrong think.

Amnesty has been captured for some time, now. They don't use any words for the female sex etc. Much of their activism is on one issue.
