A spokesman for the National Police Chiefs’ Council said: “How gender is recorded is a matter for individual forces. However, as a general rule we will accept the details that a person provides to us, whether a victim, witness or suspect.

Do the police automatically accept the details a person provides? So if I am arrested for some crime and state my name is Elizabeth Windsor and I live at Windsor Castle they'll accept that?

Honestly I'm done with the amount of nonsense people spout. I've been looking at Stella Creasy twitter and the amount of madness, not just coming from her is ridiculous. Someone taking about a non-man with a penis ffs.
How can any sensible laws and policies be written if they don't start with plain English that everyone can understand.

I believe that once a trans woman has a GRC they are recorded as though they are an actual woman within prison. So a woman having sex with a woman, might turn out to be a male bodied person having sex with a woman. 2 women having a fight, might be an old kind of woman and a new kind of woman.

I seem to recall that the Ministry of Justice was unable to provide figures for those with Gender Recognition Certificates because they are counted exactly as though they had their acquired gender and are unidentifiable in the data. Of course, obtaining a GRC requires no surgery so these prisoners very likely have penises.

It's not only women impacted, but children as the parts about sex offending and giving evidence make clear. If they won't listen to the concerns of women, maybe they will listen to how pronouns and other associated parts of the ideology impacts children who've been the victims of male rapists.

If a biological woman was convicted of a very serious crime, and self-declared as a man, would they seriously send her to a prison full of violent males?

Isn't the issue that we don't actually know how many men claiming to be transwomen are in women's prisons as the MoJ has been so comprehensively captured by the trans extremists that the actual data is worse than a dog's breakfast?

So around 60% of the trans prisoners are in there for sexual assaults/rape.

Those numbers blew me away! Could it be more fucking obvious that the system is being abused?

To be clear, the majority of those are in Men's prisons if the figures are accurate. They could just be trying to transfer to the female prisons.
