I found this lecture by Lunby Bancroft very enlightening and I wanted to share here in the hope that people get something out of it:

Thanks @CaptSkippy . Ashamed to say I had a lightbulb moment when he questions why battering men are given the same access to their children as non battering men. I totally swallowed the line that my ex should have equal access to my kids, that he'd been violent to me not them, it was different etc. Wow

Lundy Bancroft has been an eye opener for me too. Through feminism I thought I had learned a lot about abuse. I did, but I still carried some misconceptions.

I have watched his lectures many times. There are not that many on Youtube, sadly.
