I have been tasked with finding a school speaker for the 6th form during pride week. So it makes sense to have a LGB speaker in. Now I am GC and the school is sensible but the person who normally books the PSHEE speakers has gone with those who define homosexuality as same gender attracted and that you can change sex. But I am also no going to book someone who is extremely controversial, even if I agree with them.
I am looking for someone who could speak about their experience of being LGB but not the sole focus of the talk being LGB (IYSWIM). Anyone know of any good speakers who I could approach? I’m in the SouthEast.
