Should I inform his employer?

My ex was convinced under the domestic abuse act last year and sentenced to a community payback order.

I'm assuming he didn't inform his employer of this as he is still working for them. His employer is a large company that apparently supports many domestic abuse organisations. Legally, would I be allowed to inform his employer of his convinction? Would he be allowed to find out it was me that told them? Would it have any legal comeback for me? I'm in the UK.

get professional advice as you may be in danger.

Its only logical he would suspect you and as he is abusive it would be best to steer clear of him. Given that he has no direct contact with clients,he would not be a threat to vulnerable women so any intervention on your part would only potentially endanger you by provoking him. That said it's understandable why you are angry and want to stick it to him (I would too if I were in your shoes) but looking at this as a detached observer its best to let it go

Everyone has a different opinion in this. Is the other thread yours too?

I am not sure you will get different responses here.

Another who thinks you'll get a similar response on here to your other thread.

@Andromachehadabadday @MrsOvertonsWindow Thank you. I've not really used mumsnet before so I wasn't sure if you had to post on just one forum or a couple. I'll know for next time 😊 x
