Why does MNHQ allow multiple personal attacks against multiple people on the AB threads but deleted the Dr Fern thread for much less?

MNHQ respond to reports from users. Presumably one set of posts were reported and one set have not been. Have you tried reporting posts that you think break the guidelines?

I thought it was quite normal that MNHQ delete threads about a specific person if the comments are majority negative about the named person.

The AB threads are not that type of thread, but still, personal attacks should be reported and deleted.

If not a medical who is she? Whats her first name? What unspeakable crime has she committed?

I can't remember her first name. I saw the post yesterday, thought "oh god, please tell me she's not a medical doctor", googled her, and saw she wasn't.

Could you give a bit more information:

a) Who is Dr Fern, what were the attacks?
b) What multiple personal attacks against multiple people on the AB threads are you using as a comparator and can you give examples?

Just looked at her twitter feed, and I think she reported the thread herself? Again, not completely sure as this week I was mostly eating, I mean following, the AB tribunal thread(s)...

The Talk Guidelines are very rigorous on this board so please do report any personal attacks and, usually, the MNHQ staff will have a look at them and act accordingly.

The vast majority of posters on th AB threads have been circumspect about their language, commenting on the public proceedings, and what witnesses and lawyers have said and done, while watching and/or listening live and eating confectionary.
