She's getting a lot of hate in the comments, and I feel bad for her, but still impressed by her bravery. She and two other women have lost money because Red Bull awarded the transwoman first prize. My own teen DDs skateboard and snowboard. It's a wonderful experience for them...inexpensive exercise and camaraderie w/ fellow board girls. Girls deserve prize money as well as boys.

And where are the ftm transitioners taking medals and prizes away from men?

Why is it only ever mtf transitioners winning women's competitions? What possible, possible reason could there be?

Wonder if this is another case of being able to prolong a career well into your forties and longer? Especially as there is no pesky menopause to get in your way

How anyone in their right mind would be proud of this achievement is beyond me. So very silly that I want to laugh but then feel gutted for the women putting in the training and devoting their lives to their sport.

Posie Parker was on Tim Pool's show when she was in the USA a couple of months

Here is an Australian skateboarding comp, where the female event was won by a male. I heard about this event, Yarra Downhill Festival in March last year but it had snuck under the radar for a while.

People are finally talking about it.

Ahria Everett took first place from a woman. Downhill skateboarding is relatively new. This event feeds into the team choice for representing Australia in World Roller Games in Argentina in November 2022.

Not surprisingly, ASRA (Australian skateboard racing association) has removed the women’s results from their Facebook page.

They know what they have allowed is not supported by the majority, but will have told themselves anyone complaining are the bad guys.

It would be interesting if a law was passed to say that if a transwoman wins gold the first bio woman behind them must also win gold and all placed winners would continue to be placed as if there was no tie in first place. So it would cost the awards bodies extra money to acknowledge the advantage.

Sorry, that is March THIS year.

Thanks for posting @Helleofabore The winner is not only male, but a very tall, fit male...how can anyone feel okay about these wins unless they have such extreme entitlement beyond the typical male variety.
