We’re having a talk. I’ve decided I don’t know enough so going to listen and ask questions of anything that doesn’t make sense.

already got irked by “assigned at birth”. But I remain open. Still don’t like the use of queer though.

Can you ask what ‘queer’ means, and whether it is the same as LBGT?

IcakethereforeIam · 18/05/2022 15:31

Ooh, what does trans mean, what does it encompass?

GCMM · 18/05/2022 15:41

What employment rights don't LGBT+ people have in the UK?

Faultymain5 · 18/05/2022 16:04

questions are limited I’m afraid.
queer does sound like it means LGBT based on the way they defined all terms.

trans means that different gender than to that assigned at birth. They didn’t separate all the Ts so not sure where transvestites get to live.

they have the same rights, but they should not be dead named and ought to be known by their pronouns etc etc. Oh and if someone tells you their private pronouns, you should ask if you can use their pronouns publicly with other people. I think if you go out of your way to tell me your pronouns you should know that will mean I’ll use it in all instances unless you say otherwise. I shouldn’t have to ask.

told me nothing I don’t already know.
