Twitter jail for “hateful” conduct

My account has been suspended for hateful conduct for simply saying that trans women are biological males and that women should be able to have their own safe spaces and sports.

I was replying to some nutter who told me to “shut up Terf” and has various tweets on their timeline saying awful things about JK Rowling.

How is what I said hateful?

You can’t even speak the truth without being accused of bigotry.

After Manchester where a woman gets manhandled and harassed by those ninja nutters and was told off by the Police while no one spoke to them, I’m just so angry 😡😡😡

You have to be strategic on Twitter and Facebook; reporting is managed by bots and they can't read nuance. So don't use any words that could be taken out of context.

Accept its misogynistic and one sided. They used to accept 'terf' was hate speech and at one time you could report it, but that seems to have stopped.
Don't reply to goady fuckers because they are trying to wind you up so you say something reportable.

Just get a VPN (Opera web browser has a free one built in) and get back on there!

I don’t usually respond to the trolls for this reason but I couldn’t resist yesterday.

I once got a 12 hour twitter ban for asking an snp mp/councillor , cannot remember which , if they seriously thought a panel of 100% of people with a penis is equality for woman , if half of those people identified as woman , she answered yes and i was reported for hateful conduct and was only allowed to post again 12hrs after i deleted the tweet , quit twitter soon after .

I got a ban for saying that John Redwood wouldn't know a good trade policy for fishing if it slapped him in the face with a wet kipper. (inciting violence)

There is nearly no knowing what will get you a ban, sometimes. The best thing is to use nuance or misspell. (that doesn't always work if the complainer escalates it to an actual person)

I block anyone who’s obviously abusive and avoid any of those big threads with 48 accounts listed. It definitely cuts down on being reported.

Sorry, should also have said you have my sympathies, OP. It seemed better for a few days when Musk was buying in, then seems to have massively tightened up again as he’s withdrawing, though maybe it’s coincidence.

Kelly Jay Keen said in Manchester stop wasting time on twitter arguments. If you get embroiled in a 20 minute discussion with a believer you can never reason with them or change their mind. Instead you could be using that 20 minutes writing to your school or council, checking policies etc.

I'm in Germany and when elections are coming up and the parties have their stalls set up in the town square I'll target the AfD and keep them talking as much as possible (as does my DH) so they don't have time to talk to anyone else. We also take as many leaflets as possible so they have fewer to give out.

Twitter is a cesspit, it's true. I've only been banned once, fairly briefly, and it was for saying this, every word of which I would stand by now:

Hateful conduct, apparently. I appealed and the appeal was rejected within minutes.

I deleted my account a couple if years ago and really glad I did. It's a horrible place.

I tend to look though using Nitter but I can't post. It works for me, but boy do I get angry at how so much hatred for woman is acceptable.

Oh FFS I’m in jail again within 12 hours.

I appealed the initial tweet and was reinstated.

Someone else reported a different tweet, as it happens about a TW “breastfeeding” a baby. Saying something similar to your tweet and I’ve been full on suspended and my appeal rejected almost immediately.

It’s unbelievable.

Males with fetishes “breastfeeding” god knows what drug induced witches brew and women getting zero help with breastfeeding and all lactation specialists cut. Disgusting.

Also funny how it’s called breastfeeding again when TW are doing it. Chestfeeding when is mere breast havers are doing it
