IMO a very one sided and simplistic view of things which doesn't actually give any answers. Feeds the myth teens are already getting that transition is easy, and solves all your problems. Fails to mention the extensive health issues caused by cross sex hormones and surgery. For example "can transmen have sex?" "Yes." No mention of the fact that a huge proportion of females taking testosterone will experience vaginal atrophy which makes sex extremely painful or impossible and is only treated by taking oestrogen (ie undoing the hormonal transition)

Its interesting that Charlie holds views which many Genderists would despise. She says she's trans because she changed her external gender expression to match how she feels.

As has been said many times- the BBC too often achieves 'balance' by getting lots of conflicting views which just isn't appropriate for Scientific topics. Neither of those people were qualified to answer questions like that one in depth.

You see this in the trans sports discussion- no expert would claim that transwoman have no advantage but they get amateurs to make that argument, no matter how silly.

No it bloody well isn't, that's not good enough. One of the most repulsive things about this is how children and young adults are being outright lied to about surgery outcomes - just the other night I was explaining to two adults that a tube of flesh made from your arm won't get an erection, won't be erogenous.

A generation of people actually think you can interchange genitals. They have an idea it's more like a transplant than cobbling together something that looks a bit like a penis or vagina, but doesn't work. I can't believe anyone is falling for it but then, of course, videos like this show why......

Can this be archived and used in future court cases?

The Telegraph has reported that Tim Davie is facing a revolt over transgender Pride network ‘policing’ the BBC. The BBC Pride group is accused by some corporation staff of undermining same-sex attracted people by promoting self-identified genders.
"Following the latest row over BBC Studios Pride chiefs suggesting they want more influence, a BBC insider said: “Pride believes the rights of transwomen are more important than the rights of women to single-sex spaces and sports.
“BBC senior management have been incredibly naive not to understand the political nature of gender identity activism and the way it’s been tacked onto gay rights".

Sadly, I got into an argument with a much treasured friend (ex BBC) who was deeply offended when I told him about the BBC and Guardian's bias on the subject.

Frustratingly, he'll not read anything from the Telegraph and will see it as right-wing propaganda. There is no reaching some until the 'good' side (sarcasm alert) start actually talking about it honestly.
