Remember the horrible chalking at Filia in Portsmouth? A bit of good news about one of the leaders.

Clare Udy is no longer a councillor in Portsmouth. This article details gobsmacking stuff about the opportunism and backscratching that seems to have gone on. Sounds as if she is no great loss to local politics.

Good grief what a self serving and disloyal person. She is a 'weapon' as we say in these parts.

Udy will be fine, people like her always flourish. This concern is misplaced as quite a number of relatively junior or even voluntary posts are "politically restricted," it implies nothing about seniority. We already know that employers don't carry out due diligence, they'll see somebody who impressed people enough to be handed a lot of power and was (on paper) actively sought after for sensitive committees.

She implies in a recent Facebook post that, in going forward with job applications, she has high hopes of being appointed to a ‘politically restricted’ position; and gives this as one of the reasons why she chose not to stand again. Personally, I don’t think she’s likely to be appointed to a role so senior and with such responsibilities that it would be ‘politically restricted’

Good bloody riddance. Awful woman.

What a horrible, immature individual. I would be happy of she vanished into well-deserved obscurity, but people like her always seem to float to the top again.
