We've discussed these issues before on this board. It's still unclear, I think, whether there is any mechanism that will flag a name change (for any reason) on a Disclosure certificate/check.

I think that trans activists are so keen to jump on women when we get it wrong, that if this wasn't true they would already have explained why.

Imo it shouldn't be legal for a convicted criminal to change their name or identity.
