Looking to build a teacher group for those wanting to discuss concerns around gender, stereotypes, pressures of social media, etc. Teachers are currently unable to talk about some of these issues in established online groups. Please get in touch if you are interested.
We are currently looking for AGE APPROPRIATE diversity / LBG book recommendations. Any suggestions?

You post made me think of this from today's The Times OP:

Are you aware of SOS- Scotland? They would be worth getting in touch with:

Thanks for this. I know these books and have sponsored a couple of the latter for local schools via the SOS campaign!
I was unclear. Apologies! I’m looking for recommendations of fiction books that promote diversity / have LGB characters for primary / secondary. Content needs to be appropriate for age / stage. It’s hard to have this conversation in the main teacher FB pages. It gets quite...messy.

I saw it!
Pop ‘n’ Olly has been recommended to other teachers on another FB group. Will be giving that one a wide swerve.
And Helen Joyce is an amazing woman! She speaks with such clarity.

I do know them! They’re doing a fab job. Don’t know how there’s enough hours in the day for everything they have done in such a short period of time.

Ah, I see, sorry.

Is it YA fiction you're looking for? Or for older children/YP? Does it need to be recent?
